Three slender, pale figures stand at different points across a colourful landscape in “Waterfall harmony” by Betina Malling. Their placement leads from the lower left towards the right, creating a quiet rhythm among the bold layers of colour. White and grey strokes gather around them, suggesting foaming water or pale rock surfaces.
Golden, brown and peach tones meet vivid yellow and pink accents. A dark passage in the upper centre gives the composition depth, while fine vertical marks on the left may evoke falling water. Broad paint marks and thin lines create variety between dense textures and more open fields of colour.
The title invites the viewer to experience the scene as an encounter between moving water and the figures’ quiet presence. Their simple forms leave the story open and emphasise the landscape’s larger shapes. The wide 80 × 60 cm format offers space to follow the arrangement of the three figures and explore the many details of colour.
