Trine Birkenfeldt – Painting - Born in 1978 in Denmark – Living in Skødstrup

Trine is a visual artist from Skødstrup near Aarhus.
Trine attended the Art School in Silkeborg and has exhibited her paintings since 2004.
Trine is permanently represented in several galleries and also makes paintings to order according to desired dimensions.
Trine paints with acrylic and ink on canvas. She uses brushes, rollers, foam sponges and spatulas when she paints.
In addition to the smaller paintings, Trine also masters painting the very large sizes of 200 cm. and over.

Trine's expressive works often draw on a combination of bright colorful abstractions and figurative elements such as birch trees, houses, birds and figures.
The strong colors and dynamic compositions invite the viewer to explore the layers, structures and stories of the works.

Trine finds, among other things, her inspiration in the changing seasons of nature and in the contrasts and interplay of color tones.

In addition to the permanent galleries where Trine is represented, she has also exhibited at the museum at the Psychiatric Hospital in Risskov, Godsbanen in Aarhus, the Limfjorden Art Association's censored autumn exhibition, Det Røde Pakhus in Hobro, Easter exhibition at Hotel Fyrklit, Easter exhibition at Fussingø Castle, and at various art associations.
