Profile: Mia Färm
Mia Färm comes from Gothenburg but now lives in Falkenberg after years in the USA. Mia works with acrylic paint in thick layers and as a tool she mostly uses palette knives.
Mia has focused on large, colorful paintings with female faces as motifs, with layers upon layers of very fluorescent color, they become tough and stand out. Mia's first exhibition in 2007 was with pop art inspired art by Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, after that Mia has had several exhibitions around Sweden that have been very popular.
Her paintings have also been mentioned in the British Vogue 2018. Her paintings are now available around Europe, the USA and Canada.
